Use built-in MCP. A third-party bridge is not required. In Settings → MCP, add Context4 with the address `https://ctx4.me/mcp`, Streamable HTTP transport, and OAuth. Select Sign in as a user with permission to manage the server.

In the configuration, servers live in `mcp.servers`; OAuth is selected with `auth: "oauth"`. Check the full format against your version's documentation; preserve other servers and tool allow rules. Refresh the connection and check the agent's tools.

If your installed version does not support the required MCP/OAuth, tell the user. End-to-end compatibility between OpenClaw and Context4 has not been verified yet. [Official OpenClaw MCP documentation](https://docs.openclaw.ai/tools/mcp).

## Install Context4 skills

For normal setup, install `context4` and `context4-setup`. Add `context4-workflows` for tasks across systems. [OpenClaw installation](https://ctx4.me/docs/skills-openclaw.md). Skills do not replace MCP or authorization.
