Connect Context4 to ChatGPT.
The prompt guides you through setup. ChatGPT requires a plugin; access depends on your account and workspace policies.
Connect through a plugin
ChatGPT requires the Context4 plugin. There is no verified link to a published plugin yet. With the necessary permissions, you can manually configure a test plugin with remote MCP.
In the current ChatGPT interface, open Plugins, click the plus button and choose Add custom MCP server. Enter Context4 as the name, an HTTPS MCP address reachable by ChatGPT, and OAuth. Review the warning and confirm the connection yourself.
In the previous interface, the path is Apps → Create. Creating a connection depends on your account and workspace permissions. If the option is missing, check access requirements or contact your administrator.
After authorization, select Context4 among the conversation tools. Then send the prompt: AI will check available tools and help authorize the work service you need.
These are setup instructions, not confirmation that your account is compatible or connected successfully. For current steps and limitations, see OpenAI documentation.
