From connection to a business task.
How to distinguish a capability reference from access for a particular account.
Ask AI to work through a business task
“Show me the deals in amoCRM and help me understand what is currently in progress” is more useful than abstract sales advice. To answer using your data, AI needs access to the CRM. Context4 provides tools for that access through MCP.
Explore amoCRM MCP connector scenarios: reading deals and contacts, and working with tasks. The list describes the connector implementation; availability for your workspace and permissions are checked during connection.
Connect AI and a business account
Start with the AI connection guide. On that page, you can choose ChatGPT or Claude Code and copy a suitable prompt. Connection availability depends on the AI client and account settings; ChatGPT has separate MCP instructions.
You confirm sign-in to Context4 and access to the service yourself. API keys, where a particular service requires them, are added through the secure connection flow rather than an ordinary chat. Read more about accounts and authorization.
Read data first
Start with a small request: get deals, find a task, or open a known contact record. An empty list does not mean the AI failed: the selected account may have no data, or the connection may lack the required permissions.
Ask for the source of the answer and clarify missing parameters. Once data is retrieved, discuss the next step, such as a task for the responsible person. A change is possible only when a suitable tool and the required parameters are available. Check the result in the original service.
When a task involves two services
Customer information may be in the CRM while the conversation is in a messenger. This requires matching data rather than simply reading one record. The two-system scenarios separate confirmed external cases from recipes you can discuss for work through Context4.
Not every such action is automatically available: check both systems, connections, and specific tools. For sending a message or changing a record, give an exact instruction and check the result.
If the connection fails
Check the selected account, authorization status, and MCP support in your AI client. The troubleshooting guide helps identify where the process stopped. You can review or disconnect access: permission management.
